Juice
Have you ever done a juice detox before? Just straight juice for 3 days straight? Well I did and it wasn't so bad till the 3rd day. Even though my stomach was shrinking and I wasn't as hungry all the time, I struggled every time I smelled food and heard about delicious juicy burgers being talked about. I was very proud of myself for making it as long as I did. Originally it was Ryan who had the idea that we should do this detox and so we agreed to do it together, wrote down a list of exactly we would need for the next 3 days and headed to the grocery store. After over flowing our grocery kart with veggies and fruits, we got home and organized our kitchen and fridge to store it all. We used every little space in that fridge.
Look at our fridge! |
Here are some (not all) pictures I thought I would share of our "meals"and "snacks". We had 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. Total of 5 juices a day, plus lots and lots of water. Water is your best friend :)
Bon appetite! |
I really did feel good after I was done with my juice fast.
Felt like my body was getting a ton of vitamins and minerals it was missing.
I have had a lot more energy from juicing and feel much better from doing it.
Yay juicing :)

One Year Down, An Eternity To Go
Since we spent the first 8 months traveling the world together, we decided to stay in town and save money by going to dinner and eat our wedding cake that has been frozen since the wedding. We had a variety of different cakes with different frosting, but our all time favorite was the spice cake with butter cream frosting. Seriously, to die for! So of course that is the one I had our cake lady make an extra small one of. Ryan and I had no disagreements when we decided to go to our favorite japanese restaurant, who also happened to cater our wedding. Shin Sen Gumi... you never seem to fail us. We were very happy to have them recognize us and treat us so kindly. So after being completely stuffed we headed down to the same place on the beach where Ryan asked me to be his girlfriend and years later his wife.
September 24th will always be a special day for us.
It has been an amazing first year of our marriage.
I am so lucky to have Ryan as my husband.
I love him so much.
Happy Anniversary Mr. Waldron.

Growing
The Waldron family is growing so fast. There are already 5 little grandchildren that have been added in the last couple years. They are all so precious and we love each one of them. Recently Ryan and I were able to go visit the newest addition to the family, Matthew. He is such a good baby and so tiny! So excited to have finally meet you Matthew! Welcome to the Waldron family :)
Our First Home
Welcome |
I thought I would share a couple details about our new home in Huntington Beach. We really do love it here and are hoping that we will be here for a while. Of course when I decide to take pictures, the house is messy and still lacking lots of decor to make it look like "our home". So I guess this is more like a tease till I get some real shots of the space.
Oh and if you are wondering if those wood things on the ground right by the front door are mushrooms, you are right! (Husband made them with wood from the Waldron cabin. Inspiration from a favorite market/restaurant in New Zealand.)
We have wild tomato plants that I am having a hard time keeping it maintained. But boy do they supply some beautiful bright red delicious tomatoes!

Monsters
So I was very happy to spend time with 2 little cuties that I used to nanny before Ryan and I got married and took off on our travels. The moment I got in the house both Sydney and Luke started pulling out their new toys and fun stuff from every single room. It was like there was an explosion of toys! The best part of this explosion was when Sydney pulled out her dress up costumes! My face lit up when she showed me the most awesome monster costumes. She put on her pink one and I loved it!
Sydney Monster |
So I tried to ask Luke to put on the green monster, but he said "no I just want to be boy". So Sydney insisted I put on the green monster. I told her that I thought I was too big. I wanted to make her happy so I tried to see if I really was too big. And guess what?!
RAWR!!! |
It totally fit! Well it's supposed to fit like how it does on Sydney, but I totally got it on without one tear or rip. If I was ANY bigger I would have not been able to do this. I love that kids want to run around in dress up costumes at 9am.

Back Home
Ryan and I have been back from our travels for about 2 months now. I've been having withdrawals for the past few weeks, but I have to admit that it is nice to see family again and have a home that we know we aren't planning on leaving in a day or so. We are extremely blessed for having the adventures and experiences that we did.
So since we have been home we have moved into our first place, spent lots of family/friend time, gone to the Waldron's cabin in Utah tons, and more. We just got back from Utah to see our little nephew Warner over the weekend for the first time. He had his baby blessing and we are so glad that we were able to be there for that. He is adorable and I got such a big smile from him!

Holiday Adventure
Ryan and I decided to come home and surprise both of our families for Christmas.
It was wonderful to be back home for the holiday.
There was so much love and warmth.
I loved every moment of it.
You can see a video Ryan put together of our surprises here.
While we were home we had the chance to take family pictures with EVERYONE together!
The Waldron family.
Of course there was playing around.
Have to enjoy taking family pictures somehow right?

Laguna pt. 2
So remember this photoshoot with friends? Well I showed you Courtney's work,
but failed to share Miss Chantel Tripp's. She does some lovely work with her talent.
Here are some of my favorites from that day.
