One Year Down, An Eternity To Go

Since we spent the first 8 months traveling the world together, we decided to stay in town and save money by going to dinner and eat our wedding cake that has been frozen since the wedding. We had a variety of different cakes with different frosting, but our all time favorite was the spice cake with butter cream frosting. Seriously, to die for! So of course that is the one I had our cake lady make an extra small one of. Ryan and I had no disagreements when we decided to go to our favorite japanese restaurant, who also happened to cater our wedding. Shin Sen Gumi... you never seem to fail us. We were very happy to have them recognize us and treat us so kindly. So after being completely stuffed we headed down to the same place on the beach where Ryan asked me to be his girlfriend and years later his wife.

September 24th will always be a special day for us.
It has been an amazing first year of our marriage.
I am so lucky to have Ryan as my husband.
I love him so much.

Happy Anniversary Mr. Waldron.

Growing

The Waldron family is growing so fast. There are already 5 little grandchildren that have been added in the last couple years. They are all so precious and we love each one of them. Recently Ryan and I were able to go visit the newest addition to the family, Matthew. He is such a good baby and so tiny! So excited to have finally meet you Matthew! Welcome to the Waldron family :)

Our First Home

Welcome

I thought I would share a couple details about our new home in Huntington Beach. We really do love it here and are hoping that we will be here for a while. Of course when I decide to take pictures, the house is messy and still lacking lots of decor to make it look like "our home". So I guess this is more like a tease till I get some real shots of the space.

Oh and if you are wondering if those wood things on the ground right by the front door are mushrooms, you are right! (Husband made them with wood from the Waldron cabin. Inspiration from a favorite market/restaurant in New Zealand.)

We have wild tomato plants that I am having a hard time keeping it maintained. But boy do they supply some beautiful bright red delicious tomatoes!
